This is the most traditional way of cooking at home in Andhra Pradesh State of India, especially from East Godavari District where proper Andhra South Indian curry/ food comes from. My intention is to write this book to introduce authentic south Indian food from Andhra Pradesh State. I believe that proper Indian curry comes from Andhra Pradesh, South India. I like to give away all the secrets of authentic home cooked South Indian food as far as all I know. I came across lot of Indian cooking books from everywhere in the world. I found that the most of the recipes are complicated and many things go in there. I’m sure there are many great books out there. I feel my book will be different as I’m writing in my own way instead of following anyone except my homemade recipes in a simple way of cooking and quick recipes for this fast world where time is precious. Here I’m writing the Authentic South Indian cooking, usually some of the recipes, you would never come across in restaurants or not available. You can see in this book the simple and traditional methods. Traditional way always gives the best results in aroma and texture of food even if it takes few more minutes and extra pans. But, the easy way meets the similar results in taste. This is the food just like my Mum’s tasty cooking at home as it is! All this food I learned from my mother and sisters by observing them since my childhood. I had to put that into practice since I moved to the city for the job and now in UK! All my friends and who ever tasted my food, always advising me to start a restaurant, cooking lessons or catering. I decided that I will stick to my book for now!
